Martino History Timeline

1968

Established in 1968, our founder Mr. Subhan unfold our precious long journey.
The business was operated originally by the name of Cirebon Rattan.
Started as a supplier for trading company, Cirebon Rattan supply rattan furniture & craft to Jakarta.

1982

In 1982, our journey in the international trade has begun.

Cirebon Rattan extend it’s capabilities by started to export independently, found to be the pioneer of Rattan Exporter Factory in Cirebon.

1996

Cirebon Rattan was divided into 2 separate independent companies, lead by the second generation.

And one of them is Martino Rattan CV, founded by our one & only, Mr Marno.

1998

Martino growth was excellent. We managed to be one of the leading rattan manufacturer industry, and expand it’s wing with 3 factories located in the heart of Cirebon’s rattan industry.

Martino is proud to be able to fulfill the massive demand during this golden era for Rattan Industry.

2005-2011

2005-2011 was the hardtime of Indonesia’s Rattan Furniture Industry. Following to the Indonesian government export regulation Minister of Trade Decree no 12, of 2005; Rattan Raw Material was permitted for export.

This was a big hit for the Rattan Furniture Industry, which allow other competitor from other countries to acces our precious rattan raw materials and lead to many problems, some of the factories were unlucky and not be able to survive in such condition.

Martino has lost 2 factories during this BLACK ERA, and we're able to survive with 1 factory, which located in Tegalwangi (until the present time).

2015 - PRESENT

In 2015, Martino's legacy is continued by the third generation, Ms Tryas. Under her management, Martino is able to rise gradually & reinforce its power.

Massive development, rebranding, and revitalitation is done during this era. In order to preserve our long traditional family legacy & our local craftsmanship.
